🎨 2hr Workshops

Colored Slips and Molds

  • A hands-on workshop exploring molds, slip trailing, and colored slips to add texture, pattern, and expressive surfaces to your pottery.

🌱 Beginner Wheel

Our most popular class

  • Focus is on learning the basics of the wheel, beginning with how to center clay and continuing the process all the way to glazing. We focus on a different part of the process each week: throw, trim, throw, trim, hand build, then finally glazing all pieces

  • Most beginners finish the course with about 3–5 finished pieces — handmade, glazed, and ready to take home in about 2 weeks.

  • Studio tools available, bring your own, or basic tool kits available for purchase.

  • 6 weeks — one class per week, 2.5 hours each.

  • Clay must be purchased separately—starting at $32 for 25 lbs—which includes glaze and firing fees.

This pottery studio is amazing. The beginning wheel class gives you all the tools to learn the basics of throwing on the wheel. The teachers are very helpful and it's a very fun place to step away from your every day responsibilities and tap into your creative side :) Come support this local business and take a class, you will not regret it.

✨ The Pottery Experience

A great way to try pottery with someone.

  • Try out the pottery experience, great for date night, friends and family, or a treat yourself evening.

  • We will get you right on the wheel opening and pulling walls, give a chance to center clay, practice trimming, and decorating a pot.

  • If you love the experience or one of the pots you work on, you can sign up for one of our classes to continue throwing, trimming, and eventually glazing your own work!

  • Expect about 2 hours and prepare to get messy! Short nails and hair ties are helpful!

An amazing studio!! Steve and Justin are a great balance of personalities. We did the “Pottery Experience” option and it was a perfect one on one setting having never sat at a pottery wheel. Steve taught us and I felt like I kinda knew what I was doing by the end haha! Great place run by great people.

Our Story and Vision

I'm Steve—one half of the Pottery Brothers. My pottery brother is Justin, and my real brother is Mike. You might see him around too—he's been helping out as we get up and running, he just move back here from Durham, NC.

Justin and I both got hooked on pottery at a studio in Texas. For me, it started after the pandemic—a creative outlet and a much-needed break from work and screens. Justin took a deeper dive, working as a kiln tech and honing his skills as an artist.

Eventually, we decided to move to Colorado and turn our shared love of clay into something bigger: a studio built around community, creativity, and slowing down.

Since then, it’s been a wild ride—full of learning curves, long days, and small wins. But we’re finally open, and we can’t wait to welcome you in.

We built this studio with people like you in mind—those looking for creativity, connection, and a moment away from the daily grind. We're not a big company—we're just two people who love clay, and we're here to make sure you feel welcome, supported, and inspired every time you walk through our doors.

Thanks for being here. It means a lot.
